Build A Bear
We went to "Build A Bear" today for the first time. No, we didnt build a bear, we went to take her horse to the doctor. Her dad, Chris, went to STL this past weekend for the Cardinals games. He bought her a Build A Bear Clydesdale Horse. But it didnt have its heart or birth certificate yet. Nor was it sewn up yet. So we had to take the horse to the "doctor" to get fixed. She had a really good time. And when it came time to fill out the birth certificate she told the lady she wanted to name her horse "Chris"
HOW SWEET!!!!!

Update on Autism Awareness Weekend
Just wanted to let everyone know that AANEA raised over $60,000.00 this year with our annual fundraiser. This money will help continue to spread autism awareness throughout NEA and also spread hope and optimism. I am thrilled to be a part of this group. So many people worked really hard to make this event possible. I am so proud of everyone's hard work and dedication. It is an honor to be a part of this organization! I look forward to the coming year!!!

Earth Day!!
Today is Earth Day!!! The day to be aware of the environment and maybe make some choices to "Go Green" and protect our earth.
If it was up to my husband, we would be a "Go Green Family." He already has us recycling everything imaginable. There are various trash cans in the garage, all nicely labeled plastic, glass, cardboard, etc. He even has it broken down into the different types of plastic. I thought plastic was plastic....NOT SO!!! Anyway, I am proud of him for being so environmentally aware and I am getting better with recycling. It has drastically decreased the amount of "trash" we throw out.
I received an interesting email and have also run across the same information on different websites. Just thought I would post some of the info I read.
The following gas companies IMPORT gas from the Middle East:
Shell, Chevron/Texaco, Exxon/Mobil, Speedway and Amoco.
These DO NOT IMPORT from overseas:
Sunoco, Conoco, Sinclair, BP/Phillips
All of this info is available at the Dept of Energy website!
Happy Earth Day

Me and Mama after the conference
This is us after the 2-day Autism Awareness Conference held here in Jonesboro. We had some fantastic speakers and learned lots of new information. Most importantly, the word of autism awareness continues to be spread. April is National Autism Awareness month, but in my opinion the topic deserves 12 months of awareness.
